Samantha Chin — Psychotherapist and Counsellor

Psychotherapist

Samantha Chin

BArts Psych (US)  ·  Master of Psychotherapy and Counselling (AUS)

Samantha’s practice centres on holding complexity with care, making space for conflicting parts of the self so fresh clarity can emerge.

Having lived across Malaysia, the UK, the USA, and Australia, Samantha brings a nuanced understanding to change, adaptation, and the emotional complexity of moving between worlds. This background is paired with experience across community and corporate systems, shaping a deep insight into how societal expectations, familial obligations, and workplace cultures influence daily self-perception and wellbeing.

Samantha’s framework is also personally informed. Navigating her own relationship with gut health and stress response has deepened her understanding of how intimately the mind and body move in relationship with one another.

She believes that living with greater agency and inner steadiness requires both ambition and grace: the courage to grow, and the compassion to remain deeply connected to oneself along the way.

Registered member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). Trained in Person-Centred Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
